Saw the tallest peaks and felt the sands rumble
Touched my first snow and a frozen lake
Smelt the fog, and wetness dripping off a rock
Heard the winds buzz past me
And I tasted sweet defeat at the hands of the nature

On my 31st birthday, I saw man’s ability to bend the nature
And his frailty to mend his own
Yet I look forward to few more birthdays
Mostly in belief, but sometimes in faith
On nature, on human’s nature
